Coral reef resilience and social vulnerability to climate change in the U.S.-affiliated Pacific Islands (NCEI Accession 0211010)

This dataset analyzes climate exposure, ecological resilience, and social vulnerability to climate change threats in U.S.-affiliated Pacific Islands' coral reefs. Derived from NOAA National Coral Reef Monitoring Program surveys, it focuses on ocean temperature increases and coral bleaching impacts, presenting findings in a publication series for Hawaiian Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands. The dataset includes coral resilience indices, ecological factors, and social vulnerability indices, with ecological data from 2013 to 2015 and social vulnerability data from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey. Geographic data for ecological analysis and TIGER Line shapefiles for social data plotting are provided.
