Micronesia Ecosystem Score Cards, Pacific BioScapes Programme - Regional Activity

The Pacific BioScapes Programme is strengthening regional and national decision-making processes for sustainable management and use of coastal and marine biodiversity by improving the use of information and communication technologies for data management and analysis. Under BioScapes, The Nature Conservancy is working directly with governments in the Marshall Islands, Kosrae, Pohnpei, Chuuk, Yap and Palau. Essential ecosystem monitoring metrics will be gathered to assess different aspects of coral reef ecosystems, including fish populations, reef health, benthic habitat, and macroinvertebrates.
