Environmental Monitor 2002 is designed to provide basic information about PNG's natural resources, pressures affecting these resources and steps which need to take place to ensure PNG's awareness of economic benefits and trade-offs involved between development and sustainability. It is the first in Monitor Series which aim to engage and inform stakeholders of key environmental issues.
The Disaster Management Reference Handbook Series is intended to provide decision makers, planners, responders and disaster management practitioners with an overview of the disaster management structure, policies, laws, and plans for Tuvalu covered in the series. Natural and man-made threats most likely to affect the country are discussed. The handbooks also provide basic country background information, including cultural, demographic, geographic, infrastructure and other relevant data
The vision of the 9 year KJIP (Kiribati Joint Implementation Plan 2014-2023) is that; Kiribati unique culture, heritage and identity are upheld and safeguarded through enhanced resilience and sustainable development.
The goal is; to increase resilience through sustainable climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction using a whole of country approach.
