The data set provided are selected tables extracted from the Pacific Power Utilities Benchmarking Report 2012 Fiscal Year, published in June 2015. The Pacific Power Association (PPA) with the technical support of the Pacific Infrastructure Advisory Centre (PIAC) prepared this report.

The data set provided are selected tables extracted from the Pacific Power Utilities Benchmarking Report, 2013 & 2014 Fiscal Years, published in July 2016. The Pacific Power Association (PPA) with the support of the Pacific Infrastructure Advisory Centre (PIAC) prepared this report. 

Data set comprises of the following summary tables:

 Pacific Data Hub

The data set provided are selected tables extracted from the Pacific Power Utilities Benchmarking Report, published in December 2011. The Pacific Power Association (PPA) with the support of the Pacific Infrastructure Advisory Centre (PIAC) and the Pacific Community (SPC) prepared this report. 

Tables 2.1-2.8 provides a summary of the following:

 Pacific Data Hub

2005 - 2014 power generation statistics for the Fiji Islands. Data is extracted from the 2014 FEA Annual Report and figures verified for accuracy. Data captures generation statistics (excluding independent producers):

  • Units generated from various hydro stations (MWh)
  • Units generated form diesel stations 
  • Units generated from wind and solar panels
  • Total FEA generation 
  • Stations auxillary use 
 Pacific Data Hub

Data captures generation and fuel consumption by the Vatukoula Gold Mines. Record captures the following:

  • power generation, fuel consumption, power distribution on a monthly basis
  • daily and monthly reports on generators, feeders & fuel
 Pacific Data Hub

Data captures a breakdown of the Solomon Islands health facility location in the 10 provinces. Health facilities are classified into 4 types: hospitals, area health centre, rural health centre and nurse aid posts. Data was obtained out of a study done in August 2015. Number of official hospitals is 327, 40 have been closed. The data on the level of electrification of this health facilities is still pending, will be updated soon. Data was provided by the Ministry of Health, Infrastructure Advisor Mr Michael Green.

Data captures electrification level of schools in the Solomon Islands as of 2015. Data provided by the Ministry of Education via Mr Mike Haukaria. Dataset is captured in excel format providing the following information:

  • List of primary and secondary schools
  • Schools that has access to power
  • Schools that have no access to power

This record holds Tonga Power Limited (TPL) generation data from 2000 - 2014,. Data is sourced from the TPL, via the TERM IU Office (Feleti). Data captured include generation, losses, fuel consumed in generation, peak and minimum demand for the 4 grids in Tonga - Tongatapu, Vavau, Eua, Haapai.

This data records the 5 diesel power grids available in the Marshall Islands, their average loads and number of households it serves. Data is extracted from the Marshall Islands Renewables Readiness Assessment (RRA) and original data source is from MEC and KAJUR, 2014.
