JOINT PRESS RELEASE FROM THE EUROPEAN UNION AND THE PACIFIC ISLANDS FORUM SECRETARIAT The European Union (EU) with the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) have signed a financing agreement for Adapting to Climate Change and Sustainable Energy (ACSE) programme worth FJ$90.8m.
ACSE Programme brief. Programme designed in partnership with PIFS and had 3 components:
- Component 1- EU-GIZ ACSE Programme administered by GIZ
- Component 2 - Energy Catalytic Component, managed by selected PICs and partly co-funded by ADB and NZ Government
- Component 3 - TVET on SE & CC managed by SPC in partnership with USP.
