SOPAC conducted a 478 kilometers of high resolution multibeam bathymetry survey in Majuro , Marshall Islands. Areas covered included the eastern part portion of the lagoon from the airport to Uliga in the east , the inner margin of the lagoon and the northern margin from Calalin channel to Rita. A single reconnaissance multibeam line was also completed along the lagoon reef slope of the western margin of the atoll. Seismic information and data on the physical properties of the water were collected concurrently.

A SOPAC project funded by the European Union and the Australian Government with the assistance of the Tuvalu Government ,involved a De 719e Raytheon precision echo sounder used to profile the seabed. Bathymetry data created from this was used as post-dredging data which was analyzed against 2 pre-dredging bathymetry data sets surveyed previously to assess changes in the lagoon sea floor.
Record holds a bathymetry poster of Manahiki Atoll in the Cook Islands. Poster was created by the Goverment of the Cook Islands with the assistance of the Ocean & Islands Programme of the SOPAC Division, SPC in 2012.
This record holds the habitat map of the Yasawa group in the Western side of the Fiji Islands. This map was produced as part of the SOPAC survey in the Yasawa Islands ,Fiji , using single beam and multibeam bathymetry surveys to delineate the seabed morphology of Yasawa Islands of Waya and Naviti, and the mapping of an area for a potential new deepwater passage leading into Lautoka. The Bathymetry map in PDF format is available from the distribution section of this record for download with permission from the secretariat.
Coastal geological and geomorphological mapping was done around Savai'i Island, Samoa. Four map sheets representing the 4 directional quarters of Savai'i island was produced and is available for download from its individual metadata entry with appropriate permission. This entry holds the project final report and collections of microphotographs and underwater pictures.
Aerial photographs taken in 1999 were mainly used for overall mapping. Satellite (Ikonos) images,
1:100,000-scale geology map and 1:50,000-scale topography maps were also used as supplementary data. In
SOPAC conducted a multibeam bathymetry survey of the entire lagoon of Penryn Atoll, Cook Islands on behalf of their Marine Department. A three weeks mapping project primarily funded through New Zealand’s bilateral assistance to the Cook Islands, and its ongoing support of strengthening the multibeam mapping capacity of SOPAC. A 200m east to west line spacing along the entire length of the lagoon was surveyed, completely covering the entire lagoon.
This record holds the Project Technical report for a High Resolution survey study that was completed for the State of Pohnpei, inshore and offshore in 2006.
Report describes work covered over the entire survey and includes three low resolution images of the charts produced.

This report details the installation of the oceanographic
monitoring buoys in Manihiki and Penrhyn lagoons in the Cook Islands. This project was completed for the purpose of improving farm management in the Pearl Industry. Data from the buoys is to be used to establish a database at the Cook Islands Ministry of Marine Resources with physical information on all the pearl farms to help with the overall management of the farms in the lagoons

This record holds the multibeam bathymetry chart of Nan Mandol and Matalanim harbour in Pohnpei Island. Work was carried out over a 14-day period in June/July 2006 and involved multibeam bathymetric mapping, single-channel seismic profiling, current metering and CTD (conductivity temperature depth) profiling.
