The CPS survey is a follow up survey designed to provide information that will help to evaluate the current situation and status of the police services which had been delivered to the public since 2010 which was conducted by NUS Consult Ltd. The 2001 census enumerated both de-facto and de-jure populations. It was intended that all information would be collected during an enumeration period of one week, the week from 11th October 2001. Census night for individual households was the night of 11 October 2001. Given the transport difficulties between Apia and Tokelau, and within Tokelau, and in order to restrict the enumeration period to less than one week, 9 interviewers were involved.

The 2006 Census of Tokelau was conducted on the 19th of October 2006, by both local representatives and Statistics New Zealand staff. Significant planning went into both the collection and output phases of the 2006 Census
– with consultation on various aspects of the census (for example, questionnaire content consultation) carried out in Tokelau, Samoa and New Zealand, where appropriate. The 2006 Census questionnaire was based on a
standard form developed by the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC), with some changes as appropriate to the Tokelau situation.

Seasonal migration programs are widely used around the world, yet there is little evidence about their development impacts. A multi-year prospective evaluation of New Zealand's Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) worker program was designed to measure the impact of participating in this program on households in Tonga and Vanuatu. New Zealand launched the Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) program in 2007. The program set up a new migration category to allow workers to be recruited for seasonal work in New Zealand's horticulture and viticulture industries.

The Census is the official count of population, dwellings and households in Tonga and it provides a ‘snapshot’ of the country at one specific point in time: 30th of November 2011. A Tonga census has been taken once in every ten years since 1956. However the population census of 2011 is the first population census by 5 year interval from the previous census in 2006 due to the Electoral Boundary Commission (EBC)'s request according to its Act 2010.

The 2018 Tonga National Disabiltiy Survey was conducted jointly by the Tonga Department of Statistics (TDS) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Social Protection and Disability. It is the first population-based comprehensive disability survey in the country. Funding was provided through number of bodies including UNICEF, DFAT and Tonga Government. The Pacific Community provided technical supports through out different stages of the survey.

The objectives of Census changed over time shifting from earlier years where they were essentially household registrations and counts, to now where a national population census stands supreme as the most valuable single source of statistical data for the Fiji Islands.

Census data is now widely used to evaluate:
- The availability of basic household needs in key sectors, to identify disadvantaged areas and help set priorities for action plans;
- Benefits of development programmes in particular areas, such as literacy, employment and family planning;

A national Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES) is a critical component of the work of the Fiji Islands Bureau of Statistics. It provides the data which is necessary for the periodic revision of weights for the Bureau's Consumer Prices Index and other indices, assists in the compilation of national accounts, the formulation of fiscal and social policies of government, and helps government and the private sector in their planning processes.

The 2010-2011 Survey on Employment and Unemployment is intended to be part of a regular on-going exercise to obtain comprehensive national data on employment and unemployment that is not normally obtained through the Bureau's Annual Employment Survey, which tends to focus on formal sector employment.

The survey contains information on employment, unemployment, under-employment conditions, urban/rural disaggregation of employment, gender disaggregation, and other social disaggretation like ethnicity, age, industries and occupations.

The primary purpose of this survey was to gather more accurate and detailed information on income and expenditure levels and flows in the Marshall Islands (MHL) and to update and revise the MHL Consumer Price Index (a separate series of publications document the CPI revision efforts).

The survey was conducted during December 2006, following an initial mini census listing exercise which was conducted about two months earlier in late September 2006.
The objectives of the HIES were as follows:
a) Provide information on income and expenditure distribution within the population;
b) Provide income estimates of the household sector for the national accounts;
c) Provide data for the re-base on the consumer price index;
d) Provide data for the analysis of poverty and hardship.

The objective of the second round of the World Bank high frequency mobile phone survey was to measure the continued socioeconomic impacts of COVID-19 in Papua New Guinea, including on livelihoods, food security, and public safety and security. The length of the survey was limited to 15 minutes and the survey instrument consisted of the following modules: Basic Information, Employment and Income Loss, Food Access and Food Security, Health, Public Trust and Security, and Assets and Wellbeing.
