The 2010 Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES) is the second survey of income and expenditure in Vanuatu to provide reliable sub-national estimates, with the 2006 HIES being the first time this was attempted. The first HIES was conducted in 1985 in the two urban centres of Luganville and Port Vila. Another was conducted in 1998 but unfortunately, for a number of reasons to do with errors of estimation and observation, the 1998 HIES did not provide reliable and accurate estimates. With the lessons learnt from past experience, the main objectives for the 2010 survey were to:
Taken every 10 years, the census information is an important development planning resource available to Government, Province and Local Administrations, International Agencies, NGO's, businesses, communities and the general public.
Record captures Vanuatu fuel imports for the periods 2000 - 2010. Data is captured by HS Code, City of Origin, Goods description, quanitty(litres), gross mass and statistical value. HS Codes for the fuels captured during 2000 - 2010 as follows:

- 27111900 - Other
The data is attached here as it was provided to SPC.
Record captures Vanuatu fuel re-exports from 2000 - 2012. Data is sourced from the Vanuatu Customs Office, through the Vanuatu Energy Office. Data captures the fuel re-exported by Vanuatu to other countries by HS Code (27101110, 27101120, 27101130, 27101140 and 27101150), description of goods, gross mass, quantity litre and statistical value. Data is attached here as it was provided to SPC.
Record captures Vanuatu 2006 - 2012 lubricating oil imports. Import data captured by year, HS Code, description, supply units, gross mass, statistical value. HS Codes captured for lubricating oil are:
- 27101910 - lubricating oils and mineral turpentine
- 27101920 - grease
- 27101990 - other
