Nauru's Territorial Sea Baseline was defined using the 1993 topographic map produce by Survey Graphics Pty Ltd of Perth, Western Australia, under the direction of the Ministry of Island Development and Industry. The map is based on UTM Grid Zone 58, which is referred to the World Geodetic System 1972 (WGS 72). The WGS 72 coordinate system was then converted to WGS 84 using transformation parameters tabled on Nauru Maritime Boundaries Technical Report (TR 399).

This Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES) is a critical component of the work of the Cook Islands Statistics Office (CISO). The survey provides major indicators of the economic health of the nation and the well being of its people. For example Cook Islands residents (as opposed to businesses, government or tourists) consume a significant proportion of goods and services available in the Cook Islands. Changes in consumer and household spending patterns reflect changes in the economy and in individual and social behaviour.

The CPS survey is a follow up survey designed to provide information that will help to evaluate the current situation and status of the police services which had been delivered to the public since 2010 which was conducted by NUS Consult Ltd. It aims to provide an enabling environment to facilitate quality policing services, and, for policing services to deliver the most effective and efficient services pertaining to public safety, crime, and, general policing within Samoa.

The 2001 census enumerated both de-facto and de-jure populations. It was intended that all information would be collected during an enumeration period of one week, the week from 11th October 2001. Census night for individual households was the night of 11 October 2001. Given the transport difficulties between Apia and Tokelau, and within Tokelau, and in order to restrict the enumeration period to less than one week, 9 interviewers were involved.

The 2006 Census of Tokelau was conducted on the 19th of October 2006, by both local representatives and Statistics New Zealand staff. Significant planning went into both the collection and output phases of the 2006 Census
– with consultation on various aspects of the census (for example, questionnaire content consultation) carried out in Tokelau, Samoa and New Zealand, where appropriate. The 2006 Census questionnaire was based on a
standard form developed by the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC), with some changes as appropriate to the Tokelau situation.

Seasonal migration programs are widely used around the world, yet there is little evidence about their development impacts. A multi-year prospective evaluation of New Zealand's Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) worker program was designed to measure the impact of participating in this program on households in Tonga and Vanuatu. New Zealand launched the Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) program in 2007. The program set up a new migration category to allow workers to be recruited for seasonal work in New Zealand's horticulture and viticulture industries.

The Census is the official count of population, dwellings and households in Tonga and it provides a ‘snapshot’ of the country at one specific point in time: 30th of November 2011. A Tonga census has been taken once in every ten years since 1956. However the population census of 2011 is the first population census by 5 year interval from the previous census in 2006 due to the Electoral Boundary Commission (EBC)'s request according to its Act 2010.

The 2018 Tonga National Disabiltiy Survey was conducted jointly by the Tonga Department of Statistics (TDS) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Social Protection and Disability. It is the first population-based comprehensive disability survey in the country. Funding was provided through number of bodies including UNICEF, DFAT and Tonga Government. The Pacific Community provided technical supports through out different stages of the survey.
