The Cooperative Study on the Deepsea Mineral Resources in Selected Offshore Areas of the SOPAC Region, 2001 -Sea Area of The Republic of the Fiji Islands. In the second year of the Stage II Phase 2 program of the joint study program for the deep sea mineral resources survey in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) of the SOPAC member countries the study was conducted in the EEZ of the Republic of the Fiji Islands.

This bathymetry dataset was produced by the Joint Japan International Cooperatiopn Agency and SOPAC Deepsea Mineral Survey of selected areas within the SOPAC region. This metadata presents survey conducted in the Exclusive Economic Zone of Niue Islands, for the Fiscal Year 2003 . The survey carried out bathymetric and acoustic surveys, surface sediment survey, MFES survey of manganese Nodules and sampling.

This record holds, GIS layers that contains poly-lines and point features that represent the maritime boundaries of Vanuatu. This includes a gazetted polyline representing the 200 nautical mile Exclusive Economic Zone over which Vanuatu has sovereign rights, for the purposes of exploring and exploiting, conserving and managing the natural resources of the seabed, subsoil and superjacent waters. The layers represent the archipelagic straight baselines and base points for the country's maritime zone.

This record holds, GIS layers that contains poly-lines and point features that represent the maritime boundaries of the Republic of Nauru. This includes a gazetted polyline representing the 200 nautical mile Exclusive Economic Zone over which Nauru has sovereign rights, for the purposes of exploring and exploiting, conserving and managing the natural resources of the seabed, subsoil and superjacent waters. Included here are point shapes representing the archipelagic straight baselines (base points) for the 3M Nauru territorial sea, 12M territorial sea, 24M contiguous zone .
