Across Pacific Island Countries, projects and policies are incorporating objectives related to managing landscape multifunctionality to sustain flows of multiple, valued ecosystem services. Strategies to manage natural resources are often not effective, or do not have intended outcomes, if they do not account for local contexts and the varied needs and constraints of stakeholders who rely upon natural resources for their livelihoods.
The FSM Education Sector Strategic Development Plan 2020–2024 has been prepared with funding support from the Global Partnership for Education specific to the needs of the people of FSM. The ESSDP is aligned with: 1| The Pacific Regional Education Framework (sub-titled ‘Moving Towards Education 2030’) and 2| The Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4 for Education.
The purpose of the regulations is to establish the professional standard for teacher certification in the Federated States of Micronesia. Consistent with applicable law, it shall serve as the basis for decisions on issues pertaining to licensure and employment. It shall apply to all teachers licensed by or individuals seeking licensure from the FSM National Government.
