Provided are scanned pages of chapter 27 the of the Tonga annual trade reports from 2002 to 2009. The years 2008 and 2009 have dataset available in Excel and PDF.
Samoa transport data. Data collected by Mr Herbet Wade, consultant for the SPREP PIGGAREP Project. Data collected in 2012, purpose of project is to collect transport data of all sectors & determine how renewable sources & ultimately technology can be used to offset fuel imports. Record holds several attachments on :
- Samoa Shipping Corporation Ships
- Local aircraft's
The combined Pacific EEZ layer are the layers gathered from gazetted datasets that the Pacific Community (SPC) has received from the project countries. In areas where there are no gazetted datasets provisional layers are being sourced from the Global Marine Regions database (https://www.marineregions.org/).
There are two layers available, he .shp file layer and the .kml layer which are being used by partners and member states in particular FFA for the Regional Fisheries Surveillance Center (RFSC).
Work is part of the SOPAC Regional assitance to the countries on wind advisory.
Provides principles to support nature conservation in pacific islands
Dataset includes various regional-scale spatial data layers in geojson format.

Report prepared for the Government of the Cook Islands and funded by the Government of New Zealand. This report is the result of investigation of the current power system on Aitutaki and institutional arrangements for the future direction of Aitutaki Power Supply (APS). The report outlines an overall power sector plan addressing short, medium and long term issues including use of renewable energy technologies to supplement or replace diesel generation. This project has five main objectives which are as follows:

Summary Record of the PEAG 5th Meeting outcomes 2015
Development partners are working with the GoT to develop and implement the Tonga Energy Road Map. The relevant target established as part of the Tonga Energy Road Map is to achieve a 50% reduction in diesel consumption. This is considered technically feasible by 2014/15, through a combination of demand side management (DSM), efficiency improvements (loss reduction) at Tonga Power Limited (TPL) and introducing grid connected renewable energy supply. However, there are constraints to achieving this target that will need to be managed.
Analysis of the Nauru College PV Systems. Report provided in word document as a final draft.
Five (5) year PRDR and regional energy database development and implementation strategy and actions. The strategy was compiled by Dr Herbert Wade, via technical assistance from the World Bank to SPC. It is in draft format, circulated here for your review and comments.

SPC - A Pacific Island Region Plan for the Implementation of Initiatives for Strengthening Statistical Services through Regional Approaches 2010 - 2020
The report was prepared by Bruce Clay for the Government of the Cook Islands. This power study has been executed by the Energy Division, Ministry of Works, Government of Cook Islands to asses the current power status on Manihiki, provide a power sector plan and investigate the feasibility of supplementing and in the long term replacing the present diesel generation system with local renewable energy.
This report was prepared by Herbert Wade for the Office of the Promotion of Renewable Energy Technologies within the Fiji Department of Energy.
This short report was prepared by Hebert Wade for OPRET under the Fiji Department of Energy. A Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) is a relatively simple business since it has a narrow focus and a clearly defined scope. But creating a business plan for even a simple business is time consuming and a lot of work. The most important reason, is that making a business plan forces you to determine, closely examine and understand the important questions concerning the proposed business. Creating a business plan helps to bring the benefits and problems of the proposed business into focus.

The Government of Fiji (Fiji Department of Energy) Solar Home Lighting Systems (SHS) project utilizes solar photovoltaic technology for the provision of electricity to the rural sector. It is an expansion to the current RESCO project being implemented in that the number of solar home systems installed and maintained by government at an affordable service fee has increased from 1371 to 5800.
