Title 27 of the Palau National Code as amended by the Act (SIXTH OLBIIL ERA KELULAU) to Amend Chapter 1 of Title 27 of the Palau National Code defines the contiguous zone of each island or atoll is the seaward boundary of the territorial sea, and the outer boundary is a line, every point of which is 24 nautical miles seaward of the nearest point on the baseline which is defined as a continuous line which encircles an island or atoll.

The Republic of Vanuatu Maritime Zones Act No 6 of 2010 states that an exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Vanuatu is established beyond and adjacent to the territorial sea of Vanuatu. It goes on to say that:

(a) the exclusive economic zone boundaries with other States is to be effected by agreement on the basis of international law as referred to in Article 38 of the Statute of the International Court of Justice, in order to achieve an equitable solution; or

The Exclusive Economic Zone Act No. 3 of 25 August 1977, as amended by the Exclusive Economic Zone Amendment Act 1980. The exclusive economic zone of Western Samoa comprises those areas of the sea, sea bed, and subsoil
that are beyond and adjacent to the territorial sea of Western Samoa, having as their outer limits a line measured
seaward from the baseline described in sections 5 and 6 of the Territorial Sea Act 1971, every point of which line is
distant 200 nautical miles from the nearest point of the baseline.

Based on the Samoa Maritime Zones Order 2017 which repealed the Maritime Zones Order 2014, the points to be used for

The Maritime Zones, 1999, No. 18 25 August 1999(1) which repealed the The Territorial Sea Act, 1971, and the Exclusive Economic Zone Act, 1977 states that the contiguous zone of Samoa comprises that part of the sea within 24 nautical miles from the baseline from which the breadth of the territorial sea is measured.

The Proclamation 5030 by the President of the United States of America (10 March 1983) states that the exclusive economic zone of the United States is a zone contiguous to the territorial sea, including zones contiguous to the territorial sea of the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (to the extent consistent with the Covenant and the United Nations Trusteeship Agreement), and United States overseas Territories and possessions.

The National Seas Act 1977 states that the territorial sea of PNG comprises all the waters, being waters forming part of the offshore seas, contained between the baselines and the outer-limit lines except for any such waters proclaimed under this section by the Head of State, acting on advice, not to form part of the territorial sea.
