A report that outlines the status of endemic plants of Palau resulting from a population inventory of specific species with a focus on taking a close look at a few poorly known species while simultaneously aiming to progress knowledge on a broader scale.
Palau has not produced a definitive list of endangered species although a number of species have been accorded legal protection. All endemics are vulnerable due to their sole residence being a single remote archipelago. This dataset host the available records of red list for Palau as recorded by IUCN.

Its 20 chapters address a wide range of issues that have unique ramifications in the context of small islands. Cross-cutting issues include planning for sustainability, climate change, sea level rise, energy, transportation, communications, and information. Environmental issues include biodiversity, water and land resources, and waste management.
