The Pacific Guide to Statistical Indicators for Human Rights Reporting is the first such document of its kind on human rights reporting under the core human rights treaties in the Pacific.
It proposes a set of indicators that are contextually relevant and meaningful for the region, acknowledging the unique challenges and opportunities that Pacific Island countries experience in data collection, national institutions and resources.
Pacific Members of Parliament (MPs) from the Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu and Vanuatu made history by signing the Port Vila Declaration on Human Rights, Good Governance and Sustainable Development at the conclusion of a three-day Pacific Regional MPs Dialogue in Vanuatu on 7 November 2019.

The Pacific Human Rights Law Digest (Volume 6) is a collection of recent human rights case law from across the Pacific for use by legal practitioners, magistrates and judges, policy makers and advocates as precedents and tools for policy initiatives.
This edition highlights a sample cases that relate to constitutional bill of rights, human rights conventions, standards and principles. An additional section in this edition has a particular focus on cases dealing with sexual orientation, gender identity and expression and sex characteristics (SOGIESC).
Pacific young leaders, advocates and practitioners, who attended the Regional Young Leaders’ Dialogue on Good Governance and Human Rights organised by the Pacific Community's Regional Rights Resource Team and Social Development Programme (SPC RRRT & SDP) at Nadi, Fiji in October 2019, acknowledge the importance of full youth participation at the national, regional and global levels to ensure informed and effective decision making and the full realisation of good governance and human rights through the Nadi Declaration on Human Rights and Good Governance.
Rising Tide is a poetry anthology publication comprising a collection of Pacific poems and artworks about human rights and social justice suitable for students in years 7-13.
The ‘Pacific Principles of Practice’ represents a significant achievement for this region in developing a guiding document for National Mechanisms for Implementation, Reporting and Follow-Ups (NMIRFs) towards the effective implementation of human rights and SDGs– a step forward that is of great global interest and which can be used to inform the establishment of such mechanisms worldwide.This document was officially launched at a virtual side event of the 44th Human Rights Council.
The Pacific Commonwealth Equality Project (PCEP) was a two-year project funded by the United Kingdom Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The project aimed to drive inclusive and equitable social change through good governance, respect for human rights, and fairer opportunities for politically, socially, and economically marginalised communities. This ensure that the targeted countries are in a better position to achieve sustainable development outcomes for current and future generations.
