PRDR SE4ALL Steering committee meeting minutes 2

The second meeting of the PRDR SC (PRDR SC 2) was held on the 16th May 2014, at the ESCAP Office at the Kadavu building in Suva, Fiji.

The Meeting:i). endorsed the minutes of SC 1 and noted Fiji’s expression of interest to be a member of the SC.ii). endorsed the 12 months work plan and budget of the interim hostiii). agreed for SPC to revise the budget for a fully operational PRDR covering all the PICTs and to provide a letter highlighting the unsecured portion of the budget for Tonga to take to the SE4ALL Forum in early June.iv). agreed that the upcoming FOC and Forum Leaders meeting in Palau in July is an opportunity to showcase a working model of the PRDR Portal for just the core set of countries, which should include Palau as the host of this year’s Forum.v). agreed to include Australia’s logo in the PRDR pull up banner.vi). agreed that the meeting minutes is finalised in time for Tonga to take it up to its ambassador and the PSIDS missions in New York for their assistance in getting the PRDR into the conference’s programme of side events.
