Cruise Report: Collaborative Research: Distribution of hydorthermal activity and its geologic and geophysical controls at the lau Intergrated Studies site. (KM0804)

The report gives an overview of the cruise of R/V Kilo Moana, a US flagged science vessel belonging to the Office of Navel Research and operated by the University of Hawaii. The cruise took place on the 26th of March 2008 to 12th may of 2008. The core project focused on the conducting near bottom sidescan sonar, oceanographic and geophysical surveys of seafloor spreading centers in the Lau basin.
