Samoa Energy Sector Plan 2017 - 2022

The Samoa Energy Sector Plan (SESP) period of five years 2017-2022 provides comprehensive plan and a framework which will guide programs and action required by all stakeholders to achieve the Energy sector vision “Access to Quality Energy Supply for all improves”

It identifies the main areas for the energy sector and formulated strategies in achieving this outcome as End of Sector Plan Outcomes (ESPO) 1-5, namely Renewable Energy, Electricity Services, Energy Efficient Transport Sector, Petroleum Management and Coordination of Energy Sector improved. Also the SESP outlines the importance of cross-cutting issues that relates to sub-sectors such as Climate Change & Resilience, Vulnerable Groups, Human and Institutional Capacity, Promotion and Dissemination of Information. Energy Efficiency across the sector and Gender Equity.
