This paper identifies promising practices in women’s economic empowerment achieved through the design and implementation of the Australian Government’s Enterprise Challenge Fund (ECF). It explores the ECF’s contribution to improved economic development and women’s empowerment outcomes and offers observations for international development policy and practice communities and the private sector.
