Vehicles registered are catergorised as:

- Goods Vehicles - Light and heavy goods vehicles including vans, trucks, pick-ups, ambulances and fire engines

- Buses - Minibuses are also included

This record captures Samoa's vehicle registration from 2000 - 2013. Data is sourced from Samoa Land Transport Authority (LTA) via the Samoa Ministry of Finance - Energy Division. Dataset captures the total registered and newly registered vehicles. Vehicles classified as private cars, pick ups, trucks (10/12 wheels), trucks (6 wheels), machineries, van, buses, taxis design, motor cycles & others.

Data captures Samoa 2009, 2011 & 2013 vehicle imports. Data originally captured by the Samoa Customs Office and sourced through the Samoa Statistics Office. Dataset captures the following details: HS tariff codes of imported vehicles, description, country of export, quantity, and CIF. The remaining years of data will be updated soon.

Record captures 2013 Samoa registered vessels by Class (A, C, D, E) and total numbers.  Data is provided by the Samoa Energy Office and sourced from the Samoa Ministry of Fisheries. Users may need to refer to the Shipping Regulations of Samoa for more information on the Vessels Classes. Data may contain technical inaccuracies or typological errors. Information may be changed or updated without notice by Samoa Energy Office or Ministry of Fisheries.

This record holds RMI vehicle imports for 2006 - 2012. Data was provided by RMI Customs via Energy Planning Division. Vehicle imports are categorised by USED, BRAND NEW and the Total Imported Vehicles.

Vehicle type captured here includes: public transport type, for transport of persons and goods and others. Other details captured are quantity, and freight on board charges. The dataset is comprehensive and captured on a monthly basis.

This record holds the registration of Marshall Island's public vessels by different categories. These are fishing vessels, passenger boats, cargo boats, mixed boats (passenger & cargo). Data was obtained from the Ministry of Transport & Communication via the RMI Energy Planning Division. This is record as of July 2015.

Fiji Islands transport data. Data collected by Mr Herbet Wade, consultant for the SPREP PIGGAREP Project. Record holds several attachments. The objective of this project is to assess what is available in the Pacific Islands countries (PIC), identify and determine how renewable sources & ultimately technology can be used to offset fuel imports and lastly what mechanisms is appropriately applicable towards having an Energy efficient program towards the fuel design. Data collected involved transport of all sectors.

 Solomon Islands Ministry of Environment,  Climate Change,  Disaster Management and Meteorology

Statistical records relating to the monetary measures of Solomon Islands total economic activities from the year 2007 - 2014 . The table shows that approximately 43% of GDP was derived a) agriculture forestry and fisheries and b) industry (including mining, water etc). Although the contribution of these sectors has decreased slightly since 2007 (43%), this shows the continuing importance of natural resources / ecosystem services in economic development. There is also potential future development in these sectors, for example in the field of offshore mining.
