This record shows the Navigation Plan of the Betio Mole extension survey undertaken as part of the Tarawa Nearshore Project in 1981. The Project was undertaken to survey the possible areas for the Betio-Bairiki causeway site. The Navigation Plan used the method of Sidescan Sonar.
