This record holds, GIS layers that contains poly-lines and point features that represent the maritime boundaries of the Republic of Nauru. This includes a gazetted polyline representing the 200 nautical mile Exclusive Economic Zone over which Nauru has sovereign rights, for the purposes of exploring and exploiting, conserving and managing the natural resources of the seabed, subsoil and superjacent waters. Included here are point shapes representing the archipelagic straight baselines (base points) for the 3M Nauru territorial sea, 12M territorial sea, 24M contiguous zone .

The Cooperative Study on the Deepsea Mineral Resources in Selected Offshore Areas of the SOPAC Region, 2001 -Sea Area of the Republic of the Kiribati Islands.
The survey was carried out for the sea area of 13,400km2, within the Exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Kiribati.
The area was selected in accordance with the joint sturdy program for
deepsea mineral resources in the EEZ of the SOPAC member countries agreed upon by the Japanese
executing agency and South Pacific Applied Geoscience Commission (SOPAC) on February 27, 2003

Survey was conducted in an area of 1,265,000km2 within the exclusive economic zones of the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Federated States of Micronesia.The survey areas for this study are the areas approximately 551,793km2 in the eastern sea area, and 712,683km2 in the western sea area.These areas were selected in accordance with the joint study program for marine mineral

This record shows an Air Photo Interpretation of the geology and morphology of Tabiteuea in Kiribati. The map was produced as part of the CCOP/SOPAC Coastal Mapping Workshop that was held in Kiribati in 1988. 1968/69 and 1984 photo sets of Air photograph interpretation of South Tarawa, and the Southern part of North Tarawa was used. However, plotting of recent (July 1988) re-surveys of beach profiles on Betio and Bairiki and comparison with earlier surveys were made. The map was prepared by Mark Urvois who was doing Data Management at CCOP/SOPAC.

This record shows a geological map of Betio in Kiribati. The map was drawn up as part of the Tarawa Nearshore Project for the Bairiki-Betio, Tarawa causeway dredging borrow site. Sea bed surveys were undertaken in south Tarawa by UNDP staff and consultants assisted by personnel supplied by the government of Kiribati during November and December 1981.

This record shows a Base map of West of Betio in South Tarawa, Kiribati. Due to frequent coastal erosion on South Tarawa, the map was produced to show the coastal changes that have taken place. Present Shorelines (1992) are compared to shorelines from 1943 and 1969. This Base map showcase West of Betio, Sheet 1 of 2. The map was drawn based on surveys and aerial images taken in 1969, 1943 and 1992. Shoreline data are from 1945 and 1953 surveys from Howorth (1982).
